We invite you to study the Romanian translation of the EBCOG-PACT (Project for Achieving Consensus in Training) in “Trainees in O&G” section.
Among the core objectives of EBCOG (European Board & College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology), ENTOG (European Network of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology) and our Society as well, are the quality of training and ensuring optimal healthcare for women and their babies in Europe. According previous discussions during the last year General Assembly of our Society, corrections of the current Romanian Curriculum are needed and were established as one of the priorities in the near future. We think that this document is a great example of fulfilling these goals through the development of the new European consensus-based curriculum for training in ObGyn.
EBCOG-PACT represents the foundation for the implementation of training standards throughout Europe, regarding knowledge, skills and attitudes required for every European gynaecologist, defined as the ‘core’ curriculum and additionally ‘electives’ that have been described between the core curriculum and ObGyn subspecialties.
Your opinions and remarks are welcomed regarding this attempt of modern model of medical education during the trainee / resident period.
