Rezumat
Atat amniocenteza, cat si biopsia vilozitatilor coriale sunt insotite de complicatii materno-fetale. O data cu descoperirea AND-ului fetal liber in circulatia materna, metodele neinvazive au castigat o importanta mai mare in diagnosticul prenatal.
In ultimul deceniu ADN-ul fetal liber a fost utilizat cu succes in diagnosticarea afectiunilor feto-materne, in special in depistarea Rh-ului fetal, afectiunilor X-linkate si a bolilor monocromozomiale. In articolul de fata am trecut in revista studiile care au studiat utilizarea ADN-ului fetal in diagnosticul prenatal.
Abstract – THE IMPLICATION OF FREE FETAL ADN FROM MATERNAL PLASMA IN PRENATAL DIAGNOSIS
The invasive prenatal diagnostic techniques are associated with a high risk of fetal loss, therefore after the discovery of cell free fetal DNA (cff-DNA) in maternal plasma, the non-invasive prenatal diagnosis registered a very quick development.
Cff-DNA was used with great results in determining single genes disorders, RhD genotyping and determining fetal sex. In this review we summarized the role of cff-DNA in prenatal diagnosis.
